How is this Library Different?

I believe healthy piano technique starts with a strong sense of interoception, or your sense of the internal state of your body. To access the highest level of proficiency, we must first learn to listen to subtle sensations to identify the movements that help us versus the ones that hurt.

At our physical center, we need an intelligent spine that responds to each small adjustment of the arms. Every movement lesson in the library looks at the body in a holistic way, integrating movements back to the center for maximum ease and efficiency.

The materials in this library focus on shifting systemic patterns, rather than dealing with specific technical challenges found in the repertoire. However, I can absolutely provide personalized support for the application of the library contents to your current repertoire. For this, please schedule a private session, ask a question during a live class, or send me an email!

This self-study library is meant to supplement live instruction, and it’s my hope I’ll see your face in group classes, workshops, or private sessions.

Whether you are tired of facing stubborn challenges or if you just desire a deeper sense of body awareness, this is the right place for you!
